Individual applying for this position should have two-plus (2+) years of experience installing AV in either residential or commercial or both.  You should possess good communication skills, be organized and take pride in your work.  You must have a clean driving record and knowledge of site safety regulations.  You must have the ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs or more with assistance.

The ability to terminate Cat5/6, RG6, RG59 etc is a must.  You must have experience retrofitting wires in existing buildings as well as pre-wiring for new construction.  You should be proficient at installing ceiling and wall speakers, in-wall controls, assembling equipment racks, mounting projectors and screens, hanging flat panel displays, installing and calibrating AV equipment and programming smart controls.  The ability to troubleshoot existing equipment and systems is a benefit.

Occasional long distance travel may be required.
